Or So They Say ...

This week we're visiting our neighbors to the north as we explore the Henderson Castle in Kalamazoo Michigan. Yes, the name is real, as may be the ghost stories coming out of this location. But in a nice change of pace, we'll be discussing some friendly and playful ghosts. They probably are harmless, but little kid ghosts, especially those hiding under your bed, still may not be our thing.

Well, we're finally in Massachusetts, but despite the name, we did not take the low hanging fruit and head to Salem. This week we are actually in Quincy, MA on our first ghost ship! We gotta be honest, we're kind of glad we took the left turn because this was an interesting one. Who knew that a history of earthquakes, fires, wars, and numerous deaths aboard a ship would make us want to visit one. Maybe someday.

We can't believe it's already November, but we suppose all good things must come to an end. This month we have another listener episode of sorts for you guys. We were able to visit some of our old stomping grounds with the next generation of ghost hunters, our niece Luna, and her friend Zoe! Another Thursday, another state. This time we are in Scotland, Maryland vicariously living through others' investigations at Point Lookout. As is typical on the east coast, there is a long history here, and it's a bit brutal given its main backdrop of the civil war. Lots of unsettled spirits here due to imprisonment, but we'll let the EVP's speak for themselves. These are pretty wild.

New Orleans; one of America's most haunted cities. We've been skeptical of claims like this before, but this time we actually believe they might be on to something. The location where the LaLaurie Mansion once stood is rife with dark history. Although the original structure is no longer standing, the residual hauntings on the grounds are still experienced today. Listen, if you dare, to the atrocities committed by Delphine LaLaurie, and tell us you don't blame those spirits for sticking around either.

It's spooky season again, and we've finally reached another 5th Thursday. Which means another twin tangent! Happy fall, y'all, finally! It seems we've had a good stretch of locations recently, and you'll be glad to know that Kentucky didn't disappoint either. This is actually our 4th time in Kentucky, but we haven't been able to visit this location (yet..). But after some of the stuff we cover today, it may have made it to the short list of places we should visit in the near future. We're back again, and still out west, this time in the great state of Kansas. What does Kansas have, you ask? Well, we're not super sure, but we do know that it is home to some pretty old and pretty creepy houses, including the 133 year old Mcinteer Villa. It's got a little bit of everything; creaky floors and doors, shadow people, moving furniture and objects, scents, feelings, you name it it probably has it and then some. People have traveled from all over the world to visit this location. So what makes it so special? Guess you'll have to listen and find out.
