Ep.84 Lemp Mansion and Brewery

Alright, so it's not exactly "small town" America, but we couldn't pass up this St. Louis destination that regularly makes America's most haunted houses lists, could we? This location is unfortunately riddled with family tragedy, enough so that we actually want to give a trigger warning to all of you about the content heavily covered in this episode, suicide. These spirits are still around today, and have made their presence very known. Who knows, maybe we'll give it a visit in the near future; St. Louis is just like a day trip for us in the Midwest anyway.

This week we're visiting our neighbors to the north as we explore the Henderson Castle in Kalamazoo Michigan. Yes, the name is real, as may be the ghost stories coming out of this location. But in a nice change of pace, we'll be discussing some friendly and playful ghosts. Ep.79 USS Salem

Well, we're finally in Massachusetts, but despite the name, we did not take the low hanging fruit and head to Salem. This week we are actually in Quincy, MA on our first ghost ship! We gotta be honest, we're kind of glad we took the left turn because this was an interesting one. Who knew that a history of earthquakes, fires, wars, and numerous deaths aboard a ship would make us want to visit one. Maybe someday.

As is typical on the east coast, there is a long history here, and it's a bit brutal given its main backdrop of the civil war.
